We're here to make the transition to Paramount feel as clear and comfortable as possible.
Below, you'll find helpful information about what to do on your loved one's first day and how the admission process typically works.
You'll be greeted by our management team when you arrive. The Admission Manager and Executive Director, whom you met during your tour, along with other members of the management team, will be there to ensure a comfortable first day.
Most of the admission paperwork will have been completed in advance. A few additional items will need to be collected, and the residency agreement will need to be signed.
Once the agreement is signed, your loved one will be introduced to their room and begin to make it their home.
The nursing team, led by the Director of Nursing, will conduct a care assessment to ensure we have all the necessary information to care for your loved one.
If the admission aligns with one of our meal services, we'll be ready to show your loved one the dining room and introduce you to some of our other residents and dietary staff.
We will confirm and schedule all medication orders to ensure timely delivery.
Our team is here to answer your questions, walk you through the admission process, and help you feel prepared for your loved one's move to Paramount.
