Here's what Iris, our Resident Ambassador for the Stone Lodge Independent Living Apartments at Chambersburg Road, has to say about her experience moving into a new community she now proudly serves and calls home:
"I was very sad and lonely after my husband passed away, while we were living in another senior community. We loved our time at Paramount but had to move into a community to support his medical needs at the time. After he passed, I knew I wanted to come back to Paramount! I fell in love with the fountain by Stone Lodge; it was so peaceful, I thought to myself, 'I can make a home here' and that's exactly what I’ve found at Paramount! I was warmly welcomed; everyone helped me find my way around. I came here still actively grieving and found comfort in this community, where others have gone through the same types of losses. I felt less alone and more supported. After living here for a year, I’ve found great friendships and a sense of purpose in being a valued part of this community."
