Paramount has had the privilege and honor to care for countless veterans and their families over the past two decades. We serve those who have honorably served our country by providing them with exceptional care. We take immense pride in having cared for generations of our heroes.
More than barbeques, long weekends, and the beginning of summer sales, Memorial Day is about honoring those who have dutifully served our country.
America began celebrating Memorial Day in 1868 following the Civil War. Originally referred to as Decorations Day, the holiday began with Americans adorning fallen soldiers’ graves with flowers. Fast forward 100 years to 1971, and it became a federal holiday officially called Memorial Day.
How We Honor Our Veterans
At Paramount, we honor our veterans with thoughtful celebrations of their service. Here are some of the celebrations we have planned for this year.
One of our most cherished events is the flag raising ceremony and 3 Volley Rifle Salute (commonly referred to as the 21 Gun Salute).
