Paramount Senior Living was built on the foundation of service
excellence as well as a commitment to superior health care for
the residents in which we serve. Our philosophy is based
on the concept of “Aging in Place”. All Paramount
communities feature a nursing staff
that is trained to care for residents. Licensed nurses,
as well as nursing aides, are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, 365 days per year to assist residents with basic daily
care services while providing comprehensive medical care for
seniors.
The Executive Director and Director of Resident Care from each
community will create individual care plans for each resident and
regularly review the plan to note any changes in care that may
be warranted. This allows our residents, and their families,
to be secure with the knowledge that superior care will be provided
no matter what the resident’s medical needs may become. Because
no two people are alike, the services and care we offer are tailored
to each resident’s individual needs. That is why we
offer a variety of lifestyle, service, and care options. By
making these choices available, we are offering solutions for today
and the security of knowing there are options for tomorrow.
At Paramount Senior Living, commitment to our residents is also
evident by the special attention and amenities we provide in
our communities. We call this commitment to excellence
our Paramount Pledge. These little things are what can
make a very big difference in the life of one of our residents. Here
are a few examples of how we strive to make each day in a Paramount
residence special.
- Weekly socials are offered to be enjoyed by both residents
and staff as they share stories and good times together.
- Fresh-cut flowers are visible in the dining room, foyer,
public bathrooms, and model suite.
- Taped music, reflecting the interests of the residents, is
playing in the living room.
- The Executive Director will initiate contact with a family
member and / or responsible party at least once every 30 to
60 days. Depending on the size of the community, contact
may be a telephone call, a written note, or a scheduled in-person
meeting.
- Activity programs offer at least five activities per day,
such as a van ride, an afternoon social, and an evening activity.
- The Director of Resident Care or wellness nurse visits each
resident at least once daily and progress notes are reviewed
weekly.
- The Executive Director visits the dining room daily, assisting
in the serving of beverages, which provides an opportunity
to interact with residents and to ensure a quality dining experience
in maintained.
- Residents receive a signature move-in day picture with a
note from Paramount’s Chairman and CEO on the day of
move-in.
- Every resident’s birthday will be celebrated with a
cake and a card to be presented by the staff during mealtime.
- A family album displaying photographs from resident activities
is maintained in a visible area for all to view.
- Acknowledgement
of a resident’s passing with appropriate
recognition at the community level. A sympathy note, rose,
and a picture, in memory of the deceased, shall be displayed in
a common area.
